Memorial Day Hours

We'll be open 11am-5pm on Memorial Day, Monday May 25th.

We'll be serving up Bundts and reflecting on how fortunate we are to have been served by honorable and brave soldiers who gave their lives so that we might be free and live in America, protected by our ideals.

Kissing in the Kitchen

I'm not sure if you've been doing it, but we've been kissin in the kitchen!

Since Mother's  Day, we've been so fortunate to have has some good business and good promotional opportunities that have kept us busy baking bundts!

We helped Melissa celebrate her Birthday. 

(I think Melissa may be a friend of Alina, who's b-day we did a few months ago.)

We've been in relationship with the wonderful Specials Events Maven Veronica of FOX. She and her team are so wonderful to give Kiss My Bundt Bakery the opportunity (and Busines$) to provide bundt cakes for their VIP Lounge at the SLS Hotel for the American Idol Finale.

And, because we've gotten a lot of love from Yelp (not the organization, but the member reviewers), we decided to donate some yummy Red Velvet bundt cakes for their Elite Member party "Blood on the Bayou" held at the Mint this past Tuesday. 

 

We also had our wonderful "Intro to Baking" classes at Kiss My Bundt Bakery where students have learned to mix a perfect cake as well as create their own customer flavors.  The next set date is Sunday May 31st at 5pm.  To RSVP or to get more information, call us at 323.655.0559 or email

                                   

We've also been able to support some wonderful charities, community based organizations, and local public schools with our Bundts.  It's amazing how big of an impact our little Bundts has had on our Community.

Baking School--Classes are Coming!

We had our last Intro to Baking Class here at Kiss My Bundt Bakery On sunday, April 26th, and the students had an amazing time.  When I teach the class, we start with a baking demonstration, and then we have the students break up into smaller groups to create their own custom cake flavor using the secret KMBB recipe I give them as th foundation for their custom cake.  So far, in all the classes I've taught, students have created fun flavors, like lime coconut, or create classics like Almond Cake.

On May 2nd, my friend Amy Reiley (of eatsomethingsexy.com and forkmespoonme.com) taught a Wine Tasting and Bundt Cake Baking class held at Learn About Wine's Loft 218.  That was fun, and so she and I must do that class again!

Given the response to the classes, I'm going to be teaching TWO (that's right! TWO!) Intro to Baking Classes here at Kiss My Bundt Bakery.  The dates are:

• Sunday May 17th, 2009 from 5pm-7:30pm
• Sunday May 31st, 2009 from 5pm-7:30pm
