Highlights of Our Accolades:
-3 months after opening on West 3rd Street, Kiss My Bundt Bakery won Best Cupcake in LA on the Fox Hotlist.
-Soon after, we were noted as the "Best Alternative" to the Cupcake Craze according to 944 Magazine.
-Within 6 months, Kiss My Bundt Bakery had appeared on several top 10 "Best LA Bakery" or "Best Cupcake in LA" lists, including votes on Citysearch.com, Yelp.com, and BlackBook Magazine.
-Kiss My Bundt's Maple Bacon Cake, Chocolate Cake, and 7UP Pound Cake appeared on the NBC's Today Show for their holiday hostess gifts segment with Kathy Lee and Hoda in December 2009. This lead to us shipping about 300 Big Ol Bundt across the US, all baked from our tiny kitchen here in LA.
-The LA Weekly said our Strawberry Bundt Cake was “May in your Mouth”, ahem, because May is the start of local strawberry season, and our cake is made with fresh strawberries.
-The Los Angeles Times' Food Section and Daily Dish have been so kind to us, writing about our Red Velvet Cake and Maple Bacon cakes in 2009, and also our baking classes and Tecate Beer cakes in 2010. They've called our Red Velvet "amazing" and said we are a "gem of a bakery."
-In January 2010, Allie McKay of KTLA Channel 5 Came to the bakery for a 3 hour-morning news feature where the Kiss My Bundt Bakery’s Baking Academy was profiled.
-In March 2010, the Huffington Post featured me in their Chef’s Speak section.
-The LA Weekly profiled me as one of their picks for the most interestingpeople in Los Angeles in May 2010, and I am still in awe.
-Also in May 2010, The New York Timessaid Kiss My Bundt was one of the top Businesses to Follow on Twitter as a result of our ability to create a sense of community and connectivity via the social media platform.
-With a national release June 2010, I am a nationally known cookbook author, thanks for my amazing publishing house, Life of Reiley. This cookbook has garnered the attention of the likes of Martha Stewart Radio, on which I appeared, and is currently well reviewed by Amazon.com.
